These passes suit attendees planning to attend most or all of an event, but they offer little genuine value to someone only interested in a single specific day, so an honest look at your own realistic plans matters more than the advertised headline saving printed clearly on the pass.
Some multi day passes include additional benefits beyond entry alone, such as priority access on busy days or discounted camping where relevant to the specific event. These extras can shift the value calculation meaningfully, so it is worth looking past the headline price before judging a pass as poor value. Organisers who get this right rarely receive credit for it, since it simply feels like a well run event.
