Box offices that offer genuine, well trained access support can make a real practical difference for attendees who find online booking systems difficult to navigate, whether due to a visual impairment, a cognitive difference or simply a strong preference for speaking directly with a person rather than an automated system alone.

This support might include a dedicated phone line staffed by someone trained specifically in accessible booking, or a genuinely straightforward process for confirming specific seating or entry requirements without needing to navigate a standard, generic online form that was not designed with these particular needs clearly in mind from the start.

Publishing clear details on how to access this support, rather than expecting attendees to search for it themselves, matters considerably for it to actually be useful in practice. A genuinely good service that nobody can locate ends up helping almost nobody, however well designed it actually turns out to be in practice.
